Our Team

Dr. Sarah Nadeem, MD, CCFPDr.
Sarah Nadeem is a Family Physician who finished medical school in Karachi, Pakistan in 2009. Afterwards she obtained her MSc. in Clinical Dermatology at Cardiff University, UK in 2012. She then migrated to Canada. Dr. Nadeem obtained MCC certifications and furthered her Canadian training in Family Medicine, where she was Chief Resident at the University of Western Ontario. She has a broad range of clinical interests in addition to primary care i.e. Clinical Dermatology / Aesthetic Medicine, Women’s Health / Immigrant Health, and Community Medicine. She has over ten years of experience in primary care and prides herself in being a health advocate for her patients and community. She is fluent in English and Urdu. She spends her spare time with her husband and daughter and enjoys mentoring International Medical Graduates.

Dr. Salah Ahmed
Dr. Salah Ahmed is a family physician with longstanding ties to the Etobicoke community. Dr. Ahmed grew up in Sudan and began his medical training at Zagazig University in Egypt. He has worked as a family physician all over Canada, beginning with an internship at Memorial University in Newfoundland and continuing his training in the Maritimes. He began his focus on family medicine in Ontario in 2000. He speaks English and Arabic and is a fan of good humor.

Dr Lloyd Mai, MD, CCFP
Dr Lloyd Mai is a family physician who was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. He obtained his undergraduate degree with specialization in Biochemistry at the University of Ottawa before moving to Toronto to complete medical school and Family Medicine residency at the University of Toronto. Outside of medicine, he is an avid chess player earning the title of National Master by the Chess Federation of Canada.

Dr. Lloyd Mai

Jonathan Pinto, MD
Dr. Jonathan Pinto is a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician and General Practitioner specializing in Adult Care medicine. He holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and completed his medical school education at St. Matthew’s University after completing his Internal Medicine residency in York, Pennsylvania. Dr. Pinto has practiced as an Internal Medicine physician in Rockledge, Florida and has extensive experience in acute and chronic disease management for the adult and geriatric population.
He is also associate faculty at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he taught 3rd and 4th-year medical students in a hospital acute-care setting. Dr. Pinto is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and participates in the Maintenance of Certification.

Inayath Sheriff, Physiotherapist
Inayath has a Bachelors in physiotherapy and has been practicing for 15 years. He worked in tertiary care hospitals and clinics. He has experience in working with musculoskeletal conditions, orthopedic post operative care, geriatric care, sports injuries, spinal cord injuries and degenerative joint diseases. He has worked with clients of extended health insurance, WSIB, motor vehicle accident and sports injury clients. He uses manual therapy, electro-physical agents, exercise therapy, home exercise programs, prescription of assistive devices/orthotics in his approach.
He believes in attaining more knowledge and using clinical reasoning skills while assessing and treating his clients. He also believes being a good physiotherapist means to be empathetic and have good communication skills.

Kendra is extremely detail-oriented, understanding that accuracy is essential for the smooth operation of the clinic and treatment for patients. Kendra recognizes the value of well-rounded medical care and is committed to working closely with patients, families and other professionals. She will go the extra mile every day to ensure your experience at The Medi-Collective is always a positive one. In her free time, Kendra enjoys spending time with her family and her zany bernadoodle.
